Biography
Michal Stone began his career in photography as a teenager; in fact for his first paid job, photographing the sitting Governor of his home state at a political function, he was too young to legally drive and his parents had to take him!
Mike worked and a Mom & Pop studio in the late 70s until 1990 when he moved to MA and went to work for Hilton Photography. Over the next 18 years he was a studio, wedding and sports photographer; a studio manager, eventually managing all of the studio locations; the sports and event coordinator; the studio portrait trainer; responsible for converting Hilton studios to digital capture in 2002, and the Lab Manager. He has over his career done hundreds of weddings, thousands of family and children sessions, and 10s of thousands of HS Senior and Underclass portraits.
Mike received his Certified Professional Photographer in 1981 at the age of 19; his Craftsman Photographer Degree in 2020, and the Master of Photography Degree in 2021.
