From start to finish: How to get your images from out of the camera and ready to show a portrait client for an In Person Sales appointment, and for posting on your website and social media, using Lightroom Classic and ProSelect.
You will learn:
Lightroom Classic Library Module: Organization, Presets and Keywording
Lightroom Classic Develop Module: How to efficiently – and quickly - develop your RAW images, and stay out of Photoshop unless absolutely necessary
Lightroom Classic Print Module: How to use it for social media
Lightroom Classic Map Module: Geotag your images for improved SEO
ProSelect Before the Sale: Creating a client presentation, creating templates
ProSelect After the Sale: High Res Production and going back to Lightroom
ProSelect for Marketing: Creating Room Images to use on your website and social media
This is a hands-on class so bring your laptop and some RAW images. You’ll end the day with more confidence in your Lightroom Skills, a more efficient workflow with time-saving presets, tips and tricks, and new ways to show and sell your work without spending hours in front of your computer!
Bio:
Cassandra opened her own photography business photographing families, high school seniors, and weddings more than 20 years ago after graduating from the Rhode Island School of Photography, then spending a few years in a Mall Portrait Studio and photographing youth sports. Now focusing on families and high school seniors on Cape Cod, Massachusetts in the summer, she spends the winter either in Arizona or lately, Bermuda.
She also worked in Tech Support for 18 years and developed the skill of being able to explain technical things to non-technical people.
She is a member of PPA and has earned Master Photographer, Craftsman, and is a Certified Professional Photographer. She is active as a volunteer for the professional photography industry and serves as PPA Nominating Committee Chair, as well as Image Competition Co-Chair for Professional Photographers of Massachusetts (PPAM), and VP of Communications for PPAM. She also served as President of the Professional Photographers of Cape Cod and is currently the Treasurer.
She has received many awards from Image Competition including 2-time Photographic Excellence Award winner in Massachusetts; 8-time Arizona Top 10 Photographer, Silver and Bronze medalist from IPC, and a Grand Imaging Award finalist.
All PPA member attendees will receive 1 Merit.
PPA # Must be provided at time of registration.
