Basic Organization and Workflow with Lightroom CC

Lightroom is a fully integrated workflow-oriented database solution intended and designed solely for photographers and photographers’ workflow. Sound complicated? Well then let’s take the mystery out of Lightroom and learn it’s capabilities for organizing and managing your images, and processing your RAW files. Learn simple methods for creating catalog, organizing your files and importing your images. Learn tips and tricks for the Library Module with keywords and import presets, culling images, organizing, renaming images, and using keywords, ratings, labels, filters and collections.
Next, we’ll go in the Develop Module and work on basic processing of RAW images with time-saving workflow steps, using and creating presets, and how to decide what needs to be taken into Photoshop.
Exporting images for print or the web is the final step – learn how to create your own exports for all the possible uses of your images.
If you’re feeling unorganized, if you feel like you’re wasting time, or can’t wrap your head around Lightroom, this program will send you on your way with more knowledge to a more streamlined workflow.
Cassandra has been photographing High School Seniors, Families, and Weddings on the beaches of Cape Cod and SE Massachusetts since she started her business, Cassandra’s Photography, in1998. She attended Rhode Island School of Photography, and, also worked in Tech Support and managed a Helpdesk, where she mastered the art of articulating technical information clearly to non-technical people. Cassandra has served as VP of Communications for Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts, and as President of Professional Photographers of Cape Cod. She was awarded the National Award by PPAM; has won the PPAM Photographic Excellence Award in 2013 and 2015; IPC Bronze Medalist in 2016, IPC Gold Medalist in 2015, as well as a Top 10 Photographer of the Year in Arizona for the past 4 years.
All PPA members attendees will receive 1 Merit.
